We LOVE nature! A key part of our play-based program is outdoor exploration. Through our Wildflower Seed Project, we continue Lady Bird Johnson’s legacy by planting native wildflowers across Texas. These vibrant blooms support local pollinators like bees and butterflies, making our state even more beautiful! 👏🏼

Attend an Event
Did you get a packet of wildflower seeds from us? We pass them out at all our events!

Our seeds are Lady Bird’s Legacy Wildflower blend from Native American Seed.
Start Planting!
Plant seeds in late summer through early fall (no later than November) in Texas.
Send Us Your Shots
Take photos of your wildflowers and email them to us so we can include them in our gallery.

Our kiddos love this story! Alice Rumphius promised her grandfather as a child that she would “do something to make the world more beautiful.” After traveling extensively, she settles by the sea and plants lupine seeds everywhere, creating a stunning display of wildflowers making her known as the “Lupine Lady.” Just like Miss Rumphius, we decided to do something to make the world more beautiful!
